CUSTOM DESIGN

Custom Design is where both client and designer come together to make your dream come true.
It is a privilege to help you actualize your vision for your special occasion.
After familiarizing yourself with and agreeing to the terms and conditions, we will set up your first consultation, during which you will be required to do the following:
- Share visual references of garment styles you’d like
- Bring along details and fabrics you love
- Choose physical colour swatches to help best describe your dream garment in the utmost detail
THE PROCESS | MT
A quick figure analysis based on the references shown to the designer and professional advice regarding silhouette and fit.
Once a design is agreed upon, there is a full body size chart and construction sheet.
This consultation is the most important part of the design process so please allow up to an hour for this meeting, after which we will embark on memorable design experience towards manifesting your dream garment.

Founded in 2019, Meg Taljaard is an eponymous independent fashion label based in Cape Town, South Africa.
With a focus on ethically-made slow fashion and design concepts that are rooted in minimalism and translated into high-end contemporary basics with pan-seasonal ideas. Fabric is locally sourced and collections are designed and ethically produced at their studio/showroom in Woodstock. Meg Taljaard offers complete transparency into their design and production process and consider themselves a part of the fashion revolution movement.
Meg also offers custom design services in the form of occasion wear and couture.
