RYŪ AW21

This collection is inspired by the Okho Stone, also known as Dragonstone. 

Originally found in Japan close to lakes, ponds and the sea. It’s a stone borne of clay minerals and organic matter that wash up from passing waves of water. The erosion from the tides creates ripples in earthen tones which are then hardened by the sun. 

Drawing inspiration from the name and the colours of the stone, RYŪ (Japanese word for Dragon) brings together neutral basics in earthen tones and strong contrasting black looks representing shadows within the eroded rock. The two come together with knitted textures, attention-to-detail, craftsmanship and pan-seasonal ideals. Giving the wearer the chance to enjoy them through winter and beyond.
